We have been informed that the publishing process can take up to two months. Therefore, you can expect to begin ordering your copy of this magnificant book, some time in September. Adventure Land: Action Adventure Book in a new Dimension. Actually, the setting for the story mostly takes place in another dimension, and on another planet. The author weaves earth into the plot as well, when he has three teenagers go through a portal to be trapped on this strange new planet. They go from their high school prom to unbelieveable danger and adventure in this gripping tale of survival and the struggle against conquest. One of the worst villains to come to the imagination of an author terrorizes the good people of Adventure Land, and is only kept in check by the brave heroes who have sworn to protect them. Adventure Land: Action Adventure Book in the final stages of Editing. Our Editor just informed us that the editing is complete and is sending back the manuscript. The final changes will be made within the next two weeks and the book should be published some time in August of 2007. Get ready folks - this is a good one. With the second book already written, this could be a long series of heart pounding, thrilling excitement in every page. I will keep you updated on the progress so that you can place your order through Amazon.com when it is available. We are currently looking for an artist to improve on the cover illustration. Adventure Land: Action Adventure Book to hit Borders Books? We have begun conversations with representatives from Borders Books to also sell Adventure Land, The Strike of Lightning. Also, we are discussing having author books signing events. There are also plans to have the local news media cover the events. Having a 12 year old author (with tourettes syndrome no less) signing books for his fans is certainly a news worthy event. The excitement is building as we approach publication. Adventure Land: Action Adventure Book - A Blockbuster Hit? On Tuesday I spoke with one of the main Editors of the first Adventure Land Book. I was calling to get an update as to when to expect her to finish her work. We are waiting to get the manuscript back, so that we can proceed with publishing the book. I was given an unexpected pleasant report. She said that she has read many manuscripts, and done a lot of editing, but she said that she simply loved it. She said that this has blockbuster hit written all over it. She was excited. I was thrilled! Incredibly, she was basing this on what she had read so far. Meaning that she did not even finish it yet. I found this incredible because I have always felt that this book gets better with every page. Just wait until she finishes it. I also told her that if she loves this one so much, that she will love the second book even more. Book two is more powerful in an emotional way. I told her that it might make her cry. She said that it would take a lot for a book to make her cry, but that if it did, she would be thrilled. In other words, it would take a book of high caliber that is well written and extremely imaginitive to stir such emotions. I really believe that this is such a book. Book one is not as emotional. It is exciting and action packed. Just get your hanky ready for book two, thats all I'm saying. We will not see book two until well after book one hits the book stores and Amazon.com. I always knew that Adventure Land was something special, but to have an outside source read it, and then also feel that way is very comforting, exciting, and validating. Asher Edelson, the author, is only 12 years old. How can a 12 year old write such a book you ask? I don't know either. Some kids are good at baseball and are destined to become the next great hall of fame home run hitter. Asher, I believe is destined to become a best selling author. I have tried to write a book, personally, and it just did not work. The ideas did not come. What I did write was not good. Asher, however, has a river of ideas that flow from him like niagra falls. It is inspiring to see him create this story. He has ideas for an entire series of books. He tells me ideas about book ten, and I always tell him to slow down and just focus on book one. Its all cool. But it was good hearing from the editor. I can't wait until you get your chance to read this book. Then we will see if Adventure Land has blockbuster potential. Adventure Land: Action Adventure Book How many 12 year old boys do you know who can write a novel that is the caliber of a best selling book? Not many I am sure. Asher Edelson is that boy! He wrote two such books already! The first of the two is called Adventure Land, The Strike of Lightning. It is an Action Adventure, Fantasy Epic that is sure to delight readers and fans of such Genre world wide. There are plans to make a whole series of Adventure Land books. The books are targeted to entice the young adult reader, but I know that many adults will enjoy them as well. This first books introduces the heroes of the story, as well as the villains. Adventure Land: Action Adventure Fantasy Novel Coming this summer, if all goes well, is the new book written by young author sensation, Asher Edelson. He is only 12 years old. Asher has a rich imagination. He churned out over 440 pages of material that actually had to be split into two novels. While the first book is in the final stages of editing, Asher is coming up with ideas and material for an entire series of books in the Adventure Land saga. The first book to hit the press is titled, The Strike of Lightning. It will be printed by Book Surge and be for sale on Amazon.com. Adventure Land , The Strike of Lightning is an exciting read. The theme of the book is how the good people of Adventure Land are fighting for their survival from the violent attempts of the evil Lord Lightning to conquer the world. It is the classic good versus evil that has every thing from magic and dragons, to dinosaurs and lots of battle scenes. But there is also comedy, tragedy and drama to satisfy all. There were parts in it where I actually laughed out loud, and other parts where I found it difficult to fight back tears.
