Well, now I have another customer. It takes time to help people get set up with a money merge account. First is overcoming the question..."will it really work for me?"

Most people who see the results of paying off their mortgage early find it difficult to believe. But those who have moved past the skepticism and enrolled in the program are now saving money by paying down the principal faster than normal.

This customer walked timidly toward the final signature. But once it was done she wanted to get started right away. She wanted to know when my Money Merge Account was going to be activated?

Normally it takes a few days to get the info to the head office then a few more days in house. I suppose by this time next week she will begin saving money. Truth is, she's already saving because she not only decided to do it but she finally took action.

And the action she took to get her Money Merge Account going has set a lifetime pattern of better managing her money. She and her husband will now become good stewards of the wealth God has provided them.

The timer started on July 24th. That's when I made my first sale. Actually, that's when my first client was logged into the UFF system. The company has a 90 day Fast Track program. If I can log in 25 sales in 90 days starting July 24 I'll be able to become a Branch Manager.

The time has come to limit my online activities. I've been putting off the optimizing of my traffic portals because I perceived it as difficult task. I have taken the SEO trainings but somehow it appeared over my head. The training made it simple but I just didn't get it. I don't have any excuse but now that I've done it I see it is as simple as Paul Stanton and Butch Hamilton say it is. Now I have something to share with others who may feel the way I felt,...but what I found...( sales people take note :-) is that in taking ONE portal and thinking in terms of only that ONE portal the project seems managable. First, before I optimized the site I organized the links to daisy chain together, then added specific links in the linking part and added content to the display content part. By doing only one I was able to think in smaller terms rather than to be thinking of 22 sites to optimize. Veretekk makes it possible to grow and expand our imagination and therefore our skills and capabilities. I'm excited about the continuing possibilities.

Master Distributor-the adventure begins

I was recently offered a position of Master Distributor with Veretekk. We were going to take a new offering and get it to the top of the Google search engine. That was a couple of weeks ago. Today our site, webconferenceroom.net sits at the top if the Google search engine. We have great leadership on our team. We also have some very intellegent and capable teachers and trainers. In the process of getting our site to the top we all learned that it's true...content, fresh, timely, relevant content is what the search engine spiders are looking for. One of the great benefits of this experience is that now we can show others how we did it so they can do it too.

Well it happened just like Tom and Mike said it would. Within a week our forum Web Conference Room made it to first place in Google. What did we learn from this? That content is the primary mover in having the search engines find a page and move it up in the rank order. This has been a good lesson for all of those who followed the progress. We KNOW for a fact that it is true. The search engines are looking for new, fresh and focused content. I believe I will try this on my traffic portals next.

There were about a dozen who showed up and we just spent time together. Hopefully there were some questions answered. I look forward to another time we can do this. Learn How to Abound! There is a potential danger in being a sower. Whenever riches increase, there is a temptation to set our hearts on them and use them for our own personal desires. Thus, God warns, �If riches increase, set not your heart upon them� (Psalm 62:10). �For riches certainly make themselves wings; they fly away as an eagle toward heaven� (Proverbs 23:5).

If we fail to honor God with the firstfruits of our increase, we cannot expect Him to �rebuke the devourer� on our behalf. (See Malachi 3:8�11.) The devourer�s work may be evident in unexpected losses or expenses, including theft, depreciation, accidents, diseases, hospital bills, business losses, bad investments, etc.

Years ago, a Godly carpenter was asked to do a job for a factory owner. When the owner did not have money to pay his bill, he gave the carpenter stock in an abandoned gold mine. A few months later, a new vein of gold was discovered in the mine, and the stock skyrocketed in value!

The carpenter sold the stock. He was asked if he planned to honor God with the firstfruits of his increase. (See Proverbs 3:9�10.) He replied that instead of giving any tithes or offerings, he planned to reinvest the money in an oil venture so that he would have even more to give to God. He and a close friend took all of their assets and invested them in that project. It turned out to be a scam, and they lost all of their money and had to pay lawyers� fees. Their grief brought an early death to their wives and then to themselves as well.

If we view ourselves as producers of wealth, rather than channels of wealth, we are in danger. God is the One Who gives us the power to get wealth. He is the One Who increases or decreases our ability to give. Job understood this when he declared: �The LORD gave, and the LORD hath taken away; blessed be the name of the LORD� (Job 1:21).

R. G. LeTourneau, developer of giant earth-moving equipment, was a great man of faith in the area of giving. Early in his career, God taught him the importance of tithing, but as his business grew, so did his desire to give more to the Lord�s work than just a tithe. He stated, �� When you consider what God has done for us, we ought to do [more] for Him out of gratitude�.� This desire led him and his wife to make a commitment to give 50% of both their personal income and their company�s income to the Lord. As the business continued to grow, they still felt that they were keeping too much for themselves. They eventually gave 90% of their income to the Lord�s work.

Paul gives us wise counsel on abounding with riches. We can learn how to abound only if we first learn how to suffer need with contentment (see Philippians 4:12). When we learn to be content with food and clothing, we are ready to abound.

You would provide a great encouragement to your family by writing down examples from your life of sowing and reaping. Do you also have examples of how the devourer took funds that were not given to the Lord as they should have been?
