Tips to Get Repeat Web Traffic

1. Update the pages on your website frequently. Stagnant sites are dropped by some search engines. You can even put a date counter on the page to show when it was last updated.

2. Offer additional value on your website. For affiliates and partners you can place links to their sites and products and ask them to do the same for you. You can also advertise their books or videos, if these products relate to your industry and are not in competition with your own product.

3. You can allow customers to �opt in� to get discounts and special offers. Place a link on your site to invite customers to �opt in� to get a monthly newsletter or valuable coupons.

4. Add a link to your primary page with a script �Book Mark or Add this site to your Favorites�.

5. Add a link �Recommend this site to a Friend� so that the visitor can email your website link, with a prewritten title, �Thought you might be interested in this�, just by clicking on it.

6. Brand your website so that visitors always know they are on your site. Use consistent colors, logos and slogans and always provide a �Contact Us� link on each page.

7. Create a �Our Policies� page that clearly defines your philosophy and principles in dealing with your customers. Also post your privacy policy as well so that clients know they are secure when they visit your site.

8. Create a FAQ page which addresses most of the doubts and clarifications about your product or your company that are likely to be asked. This helps to resolve most of the customers doubts in their first visit to your site.

9. Ensure that each page on your website has appropriate titles and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to your site if they lose the book mark.

10. Never spam a client, who has opted for newsletters, with unsolicited emails. Later if they decide they want to �opt out� of the mailings, be sure you honor their request and take them off the mailing list. They may still come back if they like your products. But they will certainly not come back if you continue to flood their email box with mails they no longer wish to receive.

Chances are that if you have been on the internet very often you have heard "the money is in the list." Let me tell you that this is true! It is a huge part of the puzzle for the huge money makers on the internet.

What is a list?

A list is a group of people that have opted in to get a product or gift of some sort from you and in return you get to send them emails. This is pure power. Not only are you building a report with these people by sending them emails but you can market for next to nothing!

You see, once someone is in your list you can send them emails as often as you want and email is cheap or free!�

I recommend that you keep contant contact with your list and rewarding them for being on your list by giving them a lot of quality information on your niche or free gifts to say thanks for reading my emails.

This will keep them reading and build up trust! I recommend emailing gifts and information at least twice per week and then sending out an offer for them to purchase something from you twice per month.�

When you get this in place you can count on a five to twenty percent purchase rate with every sales email.

That is the power of a list. Just remember that if all you do is try to sell with every contact your readers will lose interest and either opt-out or quit opening your mail.

Phone Prospecting can be some of the hardest work that a home business owner ever has to do, but it really doesn't have to be that way! Once you learn how to set yourself up as the leader it can become enjoyable and your results will be amazing to boot.

What is the problem with the way that most people prospect on the phone? I think that it is too much desperation and not enough posture. When you make a phone call to a prospect how does it usually go? Do you jump right into how great your business, your product, your upline and your compensation plan are? If that is how you prospect you need to STOP! That is how I used to prospect too. It is frustrating as heck to poor your heart out to somebody about your product that you believe so much in only to have them shut you down. That is where the problem lies.

Becoming the hunted, not the hunter. Easier said than done, but not really.

Example: Have you ever been dating someone that was way too clingy and available? Even if you may have had a lot of interest in the beginning what happens if they call all of the time and have to be with you 24-7? Did you get tired of them and lose interest? That is what happened to me. On the other hand, what if you really hit it off with someone and liked them a lot and they played a little hard to get. Maybe they left you hanging on how much they liked you or weren't always available. Not to say that they were trying to avoid you, but gave you just enough keep you interested. They were the hunted and you were the hunter and you wanted them that much more for it!

It is human nature to chase the things that are a little harder to get. Half the fun is in the chase!

So if you prospect with the idea in mind that you are the hunted, you are the leader that will help them solve their problems, and they need to prove themselves to you before you let them on your team then that is when the success starts! You are interviewing them to see if they qualify for your time. You need to ask them questions about their current situation, their experience, their goals and ambitions and why they feel that they would be an asset to your team. That is when you become the hunted. This paradigm shift is what differentiates the leaders from the followers in the game of prospecting. This is also how you bring the "Heavy Hitters" into your business!

Free Traffic Method: Traffic Exchanges

There are many Free Traffic Methods out there but few are as easy as Traffic Exchanges.

What is a traffic exchange?

It is a website where you can view others websites in exchange for the to view yours. It is an I scratch your back you scratch mine type of a deal. The only problem with these traffic exchanges is that everyone gets on there and promotes their company website or affiliate site that hundreds or thousands of others are promoting. This makes the ad so generic that you have little chance of getting leads from that site!

How do you use a traffic exchange?

It is really pretty simple. You just need to make a website that gets attention and that is original. When people are viewing your site on a traffic exchange they only have to look at it for 10 to 30 seconds and so you need to catch their attention quick. You really need to have a catchy headline, some bullet points, volume of some sort, and a call to action. Another crucial part of getting leads is not to try to sell your product or business! People don't want to see your pitch as they are there to pitch their business. They want some type of help! Since they are there you can offer them an incentive. The one I use with great results is Blast Your Ad to 12 Million Free! You need to give them something free that solves their problem. Since they are at the traffic exchange they need traffic. Offer a solution to their problem such as "7 Tips to Bring a Flood of Free Traffic to Your Website Now!" Get your free report now!

Well now you have the idea.

I recommend that when you surf (watch traffic for traffic) that you surf five different exchanges at once. You can best achieve this by opening five tabs on your browser and pasting your surfing code into the browser tabs (one for each tab). As soon as you click on one tab and click the picture or whatever it takes to view the next website go to the next tab and do the same. Continue this for an hour or so to get around 600 free visitors to your site per day. Do this everyday and you will begin to see good results.

If this seems a little fuzzy I recommend that you go to a few traffic exchanges, sign up and things will begin to become clearer.

Building up a lot of Free Traffic to your website is key to internet success. Video Marketing is a highly targeted way to reach your audience, find common ground and bring traffic to your site. The great thing about video traffic is that they have already seen your video and still have enough interest to click on your link. Another great benefit is that they feel a little more familiar with you, therefore they trust you a little more than they would off of a text ad.

In the day of a Social Internet the video is king. The internet users of today are fast pace and� really don't want to put in the time or effort to read your ad copy unless it is really good. Put that same ad copy into video form and your chances of them stopping and watching are much better. The average visitor stays on a text website for 15 to 30 seconds as where in contrast studies show that people stay on YouTube for an average of 15 minutes. To me that says it all! This is the age of video.

What do you put on a video? Getting started you just do a video review of the product or service that you are trying to sell. Now eventually you are going to want to show proof that the product or service is working. Every time you have a success document it on video and put it onto the internet. Do this over and over until you brand yourself as a leader and the sells start to pour in!

Now that you have made your video I suggest going to http://tubemogul.com and setting up your free account. From there you can send your video to 18 different video sites at once including YouTube and Google Video. This is power. Not only does this get you traffic from the video but it also gets you up there in the Search Engine Rankings.

Before you post your video you need to make sure that your keywords are in your title, description and tags. You also need to make sure that at the very top of your description is your URL in the form of http://CreateFinancialBliss.ws�

Unless you insert your URL starting with http:// you will not get any traffic to your site.

To get an idea for your title, description and tags I suggest that you go to YouTube and see some videos that are getting high traffic and look at their info and see what they did to get it right and mimic them. Don't just copy them but use it as an idea.

Article marketing is an excellent way to get free traffic and highly rated back links. In the past few years it seems as though people have moved away from this free traffic method, but article marketing is as valid a traffic source as ever. Some may actually see Article Marketing as the best way to produce long term traffic.

Why is Article Marketing such a great source of traffic? When people go to the internet they are usually looking for information or entertainment. When one writes a great article and submits it to great article directories that can amount to and endless number of visits to your site.

Free Traffic Method: Blog Commenting

In this market any little bit helps and here is a great free traffic method that is very effective. It is Blog Commenting.

What is blog commenting?

You search for high traffic, high authority blogs and read the posts. When you find a good post leave a comment with your URL in your signature.

Example: Thanks for that great article on building a opt in list. It gave me some new ideas that I hadn't thought of before.

Doing this does 3 things. It lets people see your name and get to know you, it brings traffic through people that click you link, and it gives you a very high quality back link to your site.

Doing this takes very little time and if you do it consistently to 2-3 blogs a day you will be surprised at the traffic that it can generate for free. Not to mention if it gets you a higher page ranking on google you could eventually wind up on the first page! Huge Traffic!

So here is an overview of what you do:

- Comment on high-ranking blogs in your niche

- Leave a short comment that is complimentary or insightful (if you don't know enough about the topic to leave an insightful comment either compliment them or google the topic, read up, and leave an educated comment)

- Always leave your URL or you have posted in vain
